Three clocks, and why mixing them costs money
A dasha lasts years. A transit lasts weeks. An aspect completes in hours. Using one to justify another is where most astrological trading goes wrong.
Dasha: the background
The mahadasha sets the tone of a multi-year phase. It is the least precise and the most stable layer. It tells you what kind of market era you are in, not what to do on Tuesday.
Transit: the weather
Outer planet transits move slowly enough to characterise weeks. This is the layer most weekly notes work from, because it is slow enough to plan around and fast enough to notice.
Aspect: the hour
An exact aspect between fast-moving bodies completes within a session. It is the only layer that could plausibly map to intraday behaviour, and it is also the layer with the least evidence. Treat it as curiosity, not strategy.
The rule
Use the slowest layer that answers your question. If you are deciding whether to hold through a quarter, look at the dasha. If you are deciding whether to trade on Thursday, astrology has almost nothing to offer you.
Questions people ask
Can I day-trade using this?
We would not. The evidence for intraday astrological edges is thin, and the cost of being wrong is immediate. Nothing here is designed for that use.
What horizon do you consider usable?
Weeks to months. That is where the method has the most room to be right or wrong in a way you can actually record.
