Astrology for traders who read the disclaimer
Timing context,
not trading signals.
Astrology has a long, unglamorous history in Indian markets. We publish the timing windows and the reasoning, and we are clear about what it cannot do: predict a price.
This is not investment advice. Read the limits page before anything else.
- No buy or sell calls, ever
- Every window carries its reasoning
- Losses are discussed as plainly as wins
- SEBI-aware language throughout
What we publish
-
Weekly timing note
Which days in the coming week carry heavy aspects, and what that has historically meant for volatility — described as conditions, never as directions.
-
Dasha context
The longer cycle a market phase sits inside, so a rough week is read against a larger background rather than in isolation.
-
Muhurat windows
The traditional Diwali muhurat and other calendar points, with an honest note on how much weight they deserve.
-
Method and limits
A standing page explaining exactly what is calculated, what is interpretive, and where astrology has no business making a claim.
The honest version of market astrology
Astrology does not know the Nifty level on Friday. What it offers is a calendar of tension and ease: periods where markets have tended to react sharply, and periods where they have tended to drift. Treat that as weather, not as a forecast of price.
- No target levels, no stop losses, no 'buy before 2 pm' instructions.
- Every window is stated in advance and left up afterwards, including the ones that missed.
- Position sizing and risk are yours; the chart has nothing to say about them.
- If a window and your own analysis disagree, your analysis wins. Any other rule is gambling with extra steps.
How to use a timing window
-
Read it as context
A tense window means the market may react more than usual to ordinary news. It does not mean sell.
-
Check the horizon
A dasha lasts years, a transit weeks, an aspect hours. Do not trade a five-year theme on a two-hour chart.
-
Keep a record
Note what happened against each window. After six months you will know whether it helps your process at all — and many people find it does not.
Straight answers
Can astrology predict the stock market?
No. It can describe periods where volatility has historically clustered, which is a weaker and more honest claim. Anyone promising price predictions from planetary positions is guessing with confidence.
Is this investment advice?
No. Nothing here is investment advice, and it is not a substitute for a SEBI-registered adviser. It is a timing context you may or may not find useful.
Do you publish past calls?
We publish past timing notes unedited, including the ones that did not work out. A record with the misses removed is marketing, not research.
Which chart do you use for the market?
The traditional approach uses the chart of the exchange's founding. We state which chart and which ayanamsa on the method page, because the answer changes with the choice.
Context, then your own judgement.
A timing window tells you when conditions are tense or open. It never tells you what to buy.
